The Oak Fresh Lobster Weekender

Friday 19th May to Sunday 21st May

The ultimate seafood treat is back!   Mark and the chefs will be preparing half lobsters in a range of ways, from thermidor to classic garlic butter, as well as a full fishy menu.  As our lobsters will be arriving alive and kicking (or should that be nipping?) please book your half lobster early to avoid disappointment on 01905 381631.  Click here to view our menu.
 
 
The Long-Weekend Surf (& Turf) Board
Our weekends start on Thursday with a BIG Fresh Fish (and Steaks) Specials Board.
 
Mark and his brigade are cooking up all manner of dishes for you to try. From Cornish clams to whole sea bream, T-bone steaks to mackerel fillets, it arrives fresh in each morning to tickle those taste buds! Using our friends from Cornwall and Devon, we're bringing in the freshest catches. But we’re not forgetting our beef heritage, so expect to see steak specials, too and a big, varied specials board all weekend.

By increasing the range of fish species we offer at the Oak, you as a customer can help the plight of our fisherman. The lesser known species of our fish are currently being discarded as trash, and tuna, cod and salmon now make up more than 50% of the fish we eat. What about mackerel, coley or pouting?
