Welcome to The Oak at Upton Snodsbury

We are quite literally full of character; a gorgeous interior, flagstone floors, rough hewn timber on the walls, open fires and warm rugs. There’s an easy feel to the place, no stiff formalities here. We encourage a relaxed easy style for a drink in the beer garden, light lunch or full dinner. We're open all day every day and we serve food lunchtimes and evenings.

Our New GARDEN PODS

Our garden pods come complete with heaters, a personal blue tooth speaker and even a charging station! And then instead of an app, our customers are given their own personal phone which rings through to the bar to place all food and drink orders. (See our video for more images!)

The Garden Pods are hired out for 2 hours at £30, this introductory offer includes the guests first drink on arrival - up to a maximum of 6 people.

So customers can now book their Afternoon Tea parties in a Pod, or evening dinner from the Oak, all in the safety of their own private bubble.

To book we’re asking customers to ring us on 01905 381631 where we take the hire fee charge over the phone to secure their booking.

Returning to you after their travels, Mark & Louise bring back to the Oak flavours and ideas from foreign shores. With fresh ideas on the daily Specials board, we're using local suppliers to provide us with local ingredients. We also offer you fresh fish, landed in Newlyn in Cornwall in the morning, and on your plate by the evening... we feel an excitement brewing in the food we serve! Watch this space as the months progress, as the Oak turns a new page... in what makes a good pub, great!
